| Gymnastics Saskatchewan has developed the "GYMCAT" Program in response to the growing need in rural and urban centres for a gymnastics level that is between the present recreational and competitive structure. A committee was formed in order to receive input from clubs who have athletes at this level, and to facilitate development of a program that would be "user-friendly" to all. We hope that this program will become a valuable tool for your club to use in keeping participants involved in the sport! LEVELS
GYM CAT CLINICS GymCat Clinics are an opportunity to prepare coaches and judges for delivering the Gym Cat program. The three hour session includes instruction on judging rules, skills on each apparatus, physical & artistic preparation. The coaches will learn training techniques, routine building and the newest changes to the program. The judging portion is open to competitive gymnasts 12 years old and older. If you have no prior judging or competitive experience, you must be 14 years old. For more information, dates and times for Gym Cat clinics, please click HERE.
